Will it work with my phone?
Yes. It works with every phone. If you have an iPhone 12 or newer, or any MagSafe case, it snaps on magnetically straight out of the box. For every other phone, a thin metal ring is included in the box — stick it on the back of your phone or case once and you are set.
Does it work through a case?
Yes, through most cases up to about 3mm thick. Very thick rugged cases or cases with a metal plate already built in can weaken the hold.
What surfaces does the suction base grip?
Any smooth, non-porous surface: glass, mirrors, tile, marble, painted metal, glossy plastic, laminate desks and most car dashboards. It will not grip fabric, leather, raw wood, textured dashboards or rough concrete.
How is this different from a normal suction cup?
A normal suction cup loses grip as air seeps back in. This base is a vacuum mount — you twist the lever and it pulls the air out mechanically, then holds. That is why it stays put for weeks instead of hours.
Will it fall off in a hot car?
No. The vacuum seal is mechanical, not adhesive, so heat does not soften it the way it softens sticky pads. Just make sure the surface is clean and dry when you first mount it.
Does it block wireless charging?
The mount itself does not charge your phone. If you use the included metal ring, place it slightly off-centre so your wireless charging coil stays clear, or use a MagSafe case instead of the ring.
Can I move it between surfaces?
Yes, as many times as you like. Flip the lever to release, move it, and press it down again. If the grip ever weakens, rinse the base under warm water, let it dry, and it grips like new.
